“In my 16 years working in entertainment, I’ve never met anyone quite like Hermee. Whether he’s playing to toddlers, ruckusey twenty-somethings, or stuffy adults, he has ALWAYS been met with laughter and applause -and not for no reason. He does things that other balloon sculptors do; but he can do them one handed, and with more flair, skill, and style than anyone I’ve ever seen.
His work ethic is enviable. He is the first one awake, ready to get to the next town. When there is down time, he is practicing, preparing his tools, or working on future gigs and other plans.
As for touring with this man; what can I say? There’s not much to say (which says a lot). Everything goes smoothly and there are never scuffles. Hermee is EASY to get along with. I’ve toured with lots of eccentrics and performers over the years. He’s not going to be the guy you get tired of living with in a van for months. All but four or five performers I’ve toured with have given me a reason to get frustrated. Hermee is not one of those, and I’ve traveled with him (months at a time) in closer quarters than anyone else.
Plus, he’s tough as nails, (though you’d never know it as an acquaintance) so I never have to worry about would-be ne’er-do-wells that would try to do us harm.
Hermee is punctual, professional, hard-working, trustworthy and fun loving. Any show, troupe, or production of any kind would be proud to have this man on board. Truly a stand-up dude, and entertaining as all get out.”
