Well it has been a very adventurous Winter and I was able to visit some amazing countries these last few months.

Thailand
I spent two months in the beautiful country of Thailand learning some great balloon twisting techniques from a Bangkok local and true balloon artist. I made my way through the North and South of the country twisting balloons on the street and in some of the local nightclubs, also juggling with travelers from around the world.

Colombia
After Thailand, I made my way to Colombia in South America. I was fortunate enough to twist balloons for some of the aborigines children of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I was also privileged to be able to twist balloons with the many traveling Argentinian jugglers and artists.

Hi Friends,

Here’s some fun things that I have been busy with since my last update:

-Traveling up the Northwest coast to Vancouver and spreading balloon smiles along the way.
-Getting the opportunity to twist balloons at the PDX Bridge Festival in Portland, OR.
-Working with the very talented Vaudevire Society during Lagunitas Beer Circus.
-Having an amazing time twisting for New Belgium’s Tour de Fat Festival in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Tempe.

Hermee will be taking his act and balloons overseas to Thailand Nov. 29- Jan. 24. and then returning to the United States to learn from some of the most amazing balloon artists in the industry.

I have been able to learn from many amazing performers/artists and improving my own performance and balloons. So get ready to start seeing a lot more of Hermee and his new portfolio!

Oh boy, the past 5 months have been super busy for Hermee. After twisting balloons at the New Year’s Eve Tempe Block Party, I hit the road with an amazing sideshow group, The Cut Throat Freak Show. Performing from Phoenix, AZ all the way over to Asheville, NC and many wonderful cities in between.

I twisted balloons at SXSW in Austin, TX (the largest music festival in the United States). From Austin, Hermee joined up with the Austin based sideshow troupe, The Invisible Man Corporation, for a tour throughout the midwest.

Most recently, I spent some time in San Diego, CA twisting balloons at the Spring Busker’s Festival in Seaport Village and Fred’s Mexican Cantina in Pacific Beach. I will be working in Phoenix, AZ until May 14th and then going to Los Angeles to twist at the, Weekend of Horrors, horror film convention.
